HCAD 5633 - HEALTHCARE ECONOMICS & FINANCE

This class will build on the earlier Accounting & Finance class in the MBA business core. Students will evaluate how the healthcare industry functions economically and financially. This includes financial risks and rates of return measurement, third party reimbursement programs, cost measurement and allocation, and how healthcare organizations’ overall financial condition can be measured and evaluated. Scriptural principles on the stewardship of resources will also be included.
