PCOU 5173 - CONSULTATION FOR THE SCHOOL

This course examines consultation theory and practice as employed by guidance counselors working in educational institutions. Various forms of consultation strategies will be explored, examining the framework for consultation with other professionals, educators, parents, and administrators. The study of information and research for the development of effective parent communication skills and effective school staff interaction skills will be emphasized.
