PCOU 5313 - THE ASSESSMENT AND TREATMENT OF TRAUMA

This professional counseling course examines the impact of trauma on its survivors.  The focus of this course is on the theories of etiology and treatment of trauma, the development of treatment plans, and identification of the ethical, legal, and professional issues related to assessing, diagnosing, and effective treatment of trauma.

Prerequisite: PCOU 5003 or SOWK 5043
