ARTV 5503 - THE ART OF DESIGN MANAGEMENT

Art and Business are “Entangled”. We are beginning to see our society, as a whole, come to understand this. Several thoughts and theories about how they are entangled have been propagated over the years. The most recent and prolific has been the theory of “Design Thinking”. We now understand that this theory is effective for solving existing problems with effective, repeatable processes, but lacks in anticipating possible future problems in regard to prevention through innovative, optimized solutions. Our “entanglement”; theory is the next step towards understanding how to be more efficient in the art of business both in responding to the present and designing the future.
