PMIN 5193 - CITY MISSIOLOGY AND MOVEMENTS

This course explores socio-demographic trends toward cities in a global context and implications for ministry design. Students will explore historical trends for church and city demographics in the majority world and models for ministry highlighting the importance of the church as a nexus for ministry across organization types. Theories of city movements, cases in city movements, and development of ministry models in response to city movements are explored.
