PRAC 1001 - EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PRACTICUM The experiential learning practicum is designed to stress application of learning and reflection in the community, ministry, and workplace environments. Students will be supervised by a practicum supervisor on-site as they serve in community organizations, student leadership, ministry roles, campus employment, internships, or cooperative education experiences. The purpose of the experiential learning practicum course is to provide a critical reflection space for students to document their ministry experience, reflect on their learning and engagement with relevant texts, and receive evaluation that can be used for future growth. The 1-credit practicum course equates to roughly 40 contact hours of applied learning.
Students may take up to a combined total of 24 credit hours of PRAC-1001, 1002, 1003, and 1004 practicum credits.
