HUMS 5033 - THE THOUGHT OF C S LEWIS

This course centers on the thought of C. S. Lewis. Perhaps no other Christian writer and thinker has had more influence on the English-speaking world since the 20th century than C. S. Lewis. Through his theological, philosophical, literary, and poetic works, Lewis envisions and re-envisions the possibilities of Christianity faced with the challenges of the modern world. Equally important, the thought of C. S. Lewis invites us into a conversation with the past, present, and future as we journey along-side him in his own intellectual and spiritual formation as a man shaped by the modern world.
