Master of Divinity: Chaplaincy

The MDiv:Chaplaincy is a slight modification of the Master of Divinity. It incorporates one course that is unique and includes strong recommendations for courses within the traditional MDiv that are currently required on a menu basis. The new concentration will help students be competitive with students with MDivs from other institutions going into chaplaincy. Through this program, students will:

Apply biblical interpretation and proclamation in light of social cultural contexts, ancient and contemporary

Formulate personal and communal spirituality informed by historic Christian theology and spiritual practices, emphasizing pentecostal theology-spirituality.

Demonstrate a developed knowledge of Christian theologies, emphasizing pentecostalism.

Exhibit competencies that enable effective service in vocational ministries.
The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. Grades of less than C- will not be counted toward degree completion.

Counseling and Pastoral Care- 6 Credit Hours

Supervised Ministry Experience- 3 Credit Hours
