Master of Divinity, Ministerial Leadership: Pastoral Care & Counseling

The Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership: Pastoral Care and Counseling degree program enriches the work of ministry leaders—serving in local churches, faith based non-profit organizations, and a variety of other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of theological studies, biblical studies, Christian formation, and ministry practices. The final 15 hours of the degree program emphasizes the application of counseling theories/techniques, pastoral care, crisis pastoral care, and addiction pastoral care in ministry contexts.

The minimum GPA requirement is 3.0. Grades of less than C- will not be counted toward degree completion.

Foundational Core - 21 Credit Hours


Theological Studies - 6 Credit Hours


Biblical Studies - 6 Credit Hours


Theological & Historical Studies - 15 Credit Hours


Ecclesial Heritage & Theological Studies - 9 Credit Hours


Supervised Ministry Experience - 3 Credit Hours


Total Program - 72 Credit Hours
