Associate of Ministerial Leadership Two-Year Course Plan  
The main campus Associate of Ministerial Leadership degree program prepares students for ministry leadership—in local churches, faith-based non-profit organizations, and other ministry contexts—through an interdisciplinary curriculum of courses in foundational core (i.e., English, psychology, math, science, etc.), Bible, theology, ministry, and ministry practicum. Students who complete this degree program will be able to:

 

  1. Properly use hermeneutical tools to exegete and apply the Bible in ministry contexts

  2. Analyze and apply basic Christian theology in ministry contexts

  3. Construct and present expository sermons in ministry contexts

  4. Integrate their biblical interpretation, theological, leadership, and Christian ministry competencies in ministry contexts

 

Dual-enrolled students are limited to completing their Divine Design requirement through general elective courses only.

 

Students who complete the degree program satisfies the educational requirements for Assemblies of God ministerial credentials. All courses are transferrable into the Bachelor of Science in Ministerial Leadership program.

Total Program Hours - 60 Credit Hours


** It is the responsibility of the student to read, review, and fulfill the requirements and total hours of this degee audit for their applicable degree.

Divine Design (Major Specific Experiential Learning) - 6 Credit Hours


Divine Design - 11 Credit Hours


To meet the Divine Design requirement, students may earn credit hours in general elective courses, declared minors/certificates, or enjoy other experiential learning opportunities such as study abroad, internships, or practicums. Other practicum options include PRAC 1001  (1 credit hour), PRAC 1002   (2 credit hours), PRAC 1003   (3 credit hours), PRAC 1004   (4 credit hours), up to 24 credit hours. General Electives are any college-level course that does not satisfy the above program requirements. Students must complete the above program requirements with the remaining credit hours earned in the Divine Design to meet the total program hours.
