• Students who plan to pursue doctoral studies after the completion of the Master of Arts of Theological Studies are strongly encouraged (but not required) to complete an additional 12 hours of coursework (beyond the required 36 hours) that is related to their disciplinary focus to further prepare for doctoral-level studies and strengthen their applications to doctoral programs.
