BUSI 5903 - BUSINESS PRINCIPLES

This course is the first course in the Quantified Systemic Understanding MBA program, and you must get a B- or better to continue in the program. In this foundational course, you will learn the framework and language of Quantified Systemic Understanding (QSU). In this course, you will explore how an organization’s purpose influences its choice of strategies. You will be able to identify key variables within the QSU model to appropriate ranges of outcomes and devise investment and risk management strategies through statistical analysis. Using the three-legged stool of the Mental Models of Excellent Organizational Leadership, you will develop synergized operational, organizational, and financial strategies to optimize a firm’s opportunities to achieve its purpose.
