BUSI 5943 - ENTERPRISE CONTRACT NEGOTIATION IN A LEGAL ENVIRONMENT This course examines the traditional common law constraints affecting business management, and the proliferation of regulatory and statutory constraints, and introduces key principles of contract negotiation. Beginning with the Sherman Antitrust Act of 1890 and continuing through the significant legislation of the 1930s and beyond, students will explore how legal and ethical frameworks intersect in business operations. This course will review the principles of framing and using a QSU to create win-win opportunities for organizations. Through course materials, case analysis, and practical exercises in contract negotiation, students will become familiar with identifying and managing both legal risks and negotiation strategies in business management.
